Artist Susan A. Esbensen's oil painting "The Final Curtain," was accepted into the 7th Annual Artist of Yardley Annual Juried Show. This painting is a tribute to 'The Greatest Show on Earth'. The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the longest running circus in the world, ends after 146 years.
The juror for this year's juried show is Lorraine Glessner, a Assistant Professor at Tyler School of Art, Temple Univeristy, a workshop instructor and an award-winning artist.

The Center for Contemporary Art is pleased to
hold its 2017 Members’ Juried Exhibition at the
Watchung Arts Center.
“Returning Home,” by artist Susan A. Esbensen was selected for this exhibition.
197 entries were received from 69 members and the juror was faced with the task of selecting only 30 pieces for the exhibition.
Juror Michael Wolf eloquently explained making his selections for the exhibition. “Selecting artwork from such a diverse and skilled group of artists was difficult and challenging. In the process, I strove to select work that was technically proficient, made a bold visual statement, and considered the formal elements of art while addressing current ideas in contemporary art. The overall quality of the work was very high both technically and aesthetically.”

Still Point Gallery online exhibition, "The River" currently has three painting by Susan A. Esbensen on display. Her painting "Hey, Wait UP" was selected for publication in the fall issue of Still Point Arts quarterly to be released on September 1st. Exhibition on-line from August 1-October 31, 2016

Artist Susan A. Esbensen's painting "OUTFOXED" was accepted into the New Hope Historical Society Art Show, "Living Artist." The jurors were Dot Bunn, Tamara Cannon from Gallery Piquel, and Lisa Tremper Hanover, CEO James A. Michener Museum. The jurors selected 123 works to be exhibited from 413 works submitted by 126 artist. The top 25 works will receive the Benjamin Parry Medal of Recognition.
The opening reception is on September 9th, 2016 from 7-9 PM at New Hope Arts, 2 Stockton Ave., New Hope, PA, 2nd fl. The show runs September 10th & 11th, from 10-6 PM.
