Great comment Jerry! There is something very energizing about being near water. But I must admit, there is also a special energy in the desert.

Always special to live near a riparian area, Susan. Being close to water like that is so refreshing. Most of the year our rivers are just dry sandy washes. Then during our summer monsoon season they temporarily become raging floods. Hard for me to imagne a river running year round after being in Arizona so many decades!.....fav / like
