Oh, I love this some much. The visual and your description, the mystery, the textures. This work really speaks to me on a personal narrative level. Wonderful work Susan. F/L.

This is what I wrote on my FB today about your painting with link to your page: Love the way Susan Esbensen, a fellow artist at Fine Art America, uses texture and subtle shades and hues to create a painted poetry. I wish you a lot of success with the original painting. https://www.facebook.com/YvonneWrightArtDimensionsStudio/?notif_t=page_user_activity&ref=notif

I really appreciate these beautiful and supportive words/actions Yvonne! Thank you so much!!!!

Susan I'm going to leave another comment here because I like it so much--and like it so much because it feels authentically yours. This is thing of authenticity is an interesting phenomenon for creatives; what comes out of one's self naturally- as in the question one asks, "what child do I birth (what eye color, what height, what character is that being that comes through me?)".
Susan Esbensen replied:
I appreciate Cosima you sharing your deep feelings about this painting. You are correct, this is 'authentically' me! I am beginning to allow more of me to be expressed! Not worrying about those who would judge! Who are they any way? Probably, not authentic!

There is a sense of mystical reality in your works that seems to emerge from a deeper timeless space, Susan!
