About Susan Esbensen
Deep within my spirit lies the need to express myself. Through my art I am able to continue this process and strive for ways to improve my craft. My paintings are a contemporary fusion. I allow them to go in a number of directions from loose, to a more representational style. Not easily classified, my art embodies aspects of Abstract, Expressionism, Impressionism, Symbolism, and Surrealism. A true reflection of my own multi-dimensional nature. Each painting I do is a little different from the last. The mood of the color scheme, the under-painting, my emotional input, my reaction to the world around me at that time, the soul and the drama of the subject, whether real or imagined creates a unique vision. " Now it needs focus...why not use, again and sgain...your alter ego...the msgic white horse...find him in your landscapes, torture and twist him...or stand him stoically aloof...he is your totem...large and or small...use the cabal blanc.
