Susan, I'm a fellow FAA... I just noticed you have this piece or similar in a show. I'm working on pricing for an upcoming show, with either the SQ inch rule or the markups for wholesale & retail... What I don't understand, is the price on FAA what your piece is in the show? Do you ever order & sell from FAA and markup for a show? Then what happens if someone goes to the show & your lead them to the FAA web. If you know of any pricing guru I'm really appreciative... How you do great in the show.

Susan Esbensen replied:

GJ thanks for stopping by. Most of my art on FAA is not priced. Whatever a piece is priced at a show that would be the price on FAA. My priced pieces on FAA are the same price that they would be at a show regardless of commission at the shows. I hope that helps..

Dreamy cold winter scene reminds me of a hit song from the 1970s called "Wildfire" by Michael Murphy.... in your painting, however, the horse finds its way home for a much happier ending. Beautiful moody work of art!..............FAV / LIKE

About Susan Esbensen

Susan Esbensen

Deep within my spirit lies the need to express myself. Through my art I am able to continue this process and strive for ways to improve my craft. My paintings are a contemporary fusion. I allow them to go in a number of directions from loose, to a more representational style. Not easily classified, my art embodies aspects of Abstract, Expressionism, Impressionism, Symbolism, and Surrealism. A true reflection of my own multi-dimensional nature. Each painting I do is a little different from the last. The mood of the color scheme, the under-painting, my emotional input, my reaction to the world around me at that time, the soul and the drama of the subject, whether real or imagined creates a unique vision. I have...
